Volvo Penta & Fontain Pajot launched electric "test" boat

I went to METS in Amsterdam this November [2019] and Volvo Penta presented a their latest electric drive project in cooperation with Fontaine-Pajot.

When listening to the presentation, the system and project are just at the beginning but it is very interesting to see that even the "big" diesel suppliers are investigating the electric and hybrid propulsion market.

They are still far away from a complete "system" like we have it on Moonwave but on the other side they have plenty of engineers and resources behind them.
